In the current day and age, with our lives surrounded by designer fashion and global warming, having a suitable pair of sunglasses is required for both. A good pair of sunglasses will finish off your outfit and sometimes cover up the damage that last night did to your eyes. As for the global warming side of matters, as the Earths temperature is getting hotter, your eyes are constantly in need of protection from damaging UV rays.
So now after justifying the reasons for buying new sunglasses, you now have to make the tricky decision to decide which pair would best suite you. Now that’s the difficult part.
Just like when choosing normal glasses, the decision made all starts with the shape of your face. There are 2 main face shapes, oval and round. A rounded faced person is where the length and width of their face is almost the same, more often than not, a round face person will be aware of the shape of their face. As for the other shape, oval, this is where the height of your face is longer than the width.
Once you have decided on your face shape, you can then decide on what shape of sunglasses to get. If you think you have a rounded face then you would be best off with a rectangle or square frame. If you are a rounded faced person then you are limited by the range of designers as some don’t make square or rectangle sunglasses.
If you think you have more of an oval shaped face, then you are not limited at all, you can wear pretty much anything you want. You are not limited at all, you will be able to get away with wearing big or small and curved or square, anything should look good.Police sunglasses or maybe a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses, you should be able to pull it off.
If you dont’t think you have an oval or round face, you may fit into one of these other 2 shapes. If you think you have more of a heart shaped face then you should lean towards a pair of thin rimmed aviation styled sunglasses. Finally, if you seem to have more of a square face, you should go for some curved glasses as you don’t want to add anymore angles to your face.
Hopefully you’ll find these tips useful when you buy your next pair of sunglasses. Just remember, despite paying alot of money for the sunglasses, it doesn’t mean that they give enough protection for your eyes. Make sure they have a sticker on them saying how well they really do protect you and look to see whether they are CR39 lenses which complies by the European guidelines.
